Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission.

Through the sacrament of baptism, the child to be baptized will be adopted into the church of Christ, the people of God. He or she will be sprinkled with holy water, anointed with oil, dressed with a white cloth, and thereby spiritually born again as a child of God. Parents can ask for the sacrament of baptism for their children. The celebration of baptism for little children can take place individually in our church throughout the year.
