Student Chaplain

Here to listen, support, and walk with you through campus life.

The Student Chaplain is there for all students who want someone to talk to — whether you’re facing personal challenges, struggling with stress, or simply looking for a moment of reflection. You don’t have to be religious to reach out.

A chaplain offers a safe and confidential space where you can share your thoughts, ask life’s big questions, or just take a break from the rush of study life. They can support you in times of loss, uncertainty, or change, and help you find meaning and direction.

You’re welcome to contact the chaplain for a one-on-one conversation, group discussions, or campus activities that promote wellbeing and community.

Father Eugen has studied Law at the University of Amsterdam, lived here many years, and has also worked as a lawyer. He studied theology at the University of Navarre where he also received his doctorate.

You can also contact Brechje Huisman. Bregje is an anesthesiologist and a lecturer at the Free University of Amsterdam.
